This project is an interactive configurator designed to visually showcase bathroom interior materials realistically and intuitively. Built on Unreal Engine, the software enables users to freely select various products like tiles, sanitary wares, and shower partitions, visualizing their selections within a realistic virtual bathroom space.
The bathroom is a significant space reflecting personal lifestyles and tastes. However, traditionally, customers had limited opportunities to preview the actual installation of products, primarily due to spatial constraints in physical showrooms. This limitation often forced customers to rely heavily on imagination when making purchase decisions, significantly impacting their satisfaction and confidence. The project addresses these challenges by providing a virtual visualization solution that empowers customers to make informed decisions and helps retailers overcome spatial limitations, enhancing their marketing capabilities.
To achieve successful implementation, we utilized Unreal Engine's powerful 3D rendering and interactive UI capabilities. High-quality textures and real-time lighting effects were applied to create an environment closely resembling an actual bathroom. Additionally, a manufacturer-specific product database was developed, allowing retailers to easily manage and update products. Each retailer can select specific brands or product ranges to create customized packages, displaying them to customers in real-time. Leveraging Unreal Engine's data management features, we ensured efficient performance management and flexible content updates.
